In 1987 Cheryl Witt quit her job as a Neon tube bender and moved to Mount Airy, NC to open her own wholesale neon shop. She ran the business out of rented basement space. As the business grew she hired and trained glass benders and pumpers. Over the next twenty years Cheryl went on to build a company that is now housed in a 9000 square foot building on 3 acres in Surry County. In 2008 Cheryl sold the business to longtime employee Melanie Webb and her husband Kevin. Melanie's extensive knowledge of the business made for a smooth transition of ownership. Cheryl has stayed on as a consultant to the day to day operations.
